Halo® Hair Extensions Collection
The Halo® Collection is perfect for thin to medium hair types and blends seamlessly with hair that is past the shoulders. Halo® extensions are also great for those who have a sensitive scalp and find wearing clip-in extensions difficult or heavy, since the weight of the hair is evenly distributed around the scalp with the Halo®. Our Halo® is suited for low hairstyles only, such as a low bun or low ponytail. The Halo® may be paired with our Scalp Fill-ins set or Hair Topper for overall coverage, volume and length.
Our Halo® is secured with a thin, adjustable wire and four clips for a secure and comfortable fit. The adjustable wire may be custom sized for an ideal fit, and each set also comes with a spare wire. Included in each set are two 2-clip side wefts that are ideal for blending and framing around the face. The Halo® weft is 10 inches in width and the two Seamless 2-clips are 4” in width. The 12” set is 150 grams, the 16” set is 140 grams and the 20” set is 180 grams.
Each Halo® set includes a color swatch to test the shade in person, before opening the full set.

How do Halo® hair extensions work?
Halo® hair extensions are a one-and-done method to achieve longer, fuller hair. They’re perfect for first-time users and simple enough to apply for everyday wear in just a few minutes.
Our 20" Halo® hair extension comes with a 10" wide weft that is 140 grams of hair. It comes with two bonus 2-clip wefts (20 grams each) to help blend in the hair that frames your face. The weight of the Halo and two 2-clip wefts is 180 grams. Our 16" Halo® hair extension comes with a 10" wide weft that is 110 grams of hair. The two bonus 2-clip wefts are 5 grams each and the weight of the Halo® hair extension and two 2-clip wefts is 140 grams.
Luxy Hair Halo® hair extensions sit on top of your head using a nylon wire that is custom fit to your head size. There are two clips (one on either side) placed about 1.5 inches from the end of the Halo weft to ensure a secure fit. Also, after you put in your extensions, the weight of your hair laying on top will also help to keep it in place. Be rest assured - you can flip your hair around without the extensions coming out!

How do I apply Halo® hair extensions?
STEP 1: BRUSH YOUR HAIR
Brush your hair thoroughly to get rid of tangles. Then, brush out your Halo® hair extension and each 2-clip weft gently using our Loop Hair Extensions Brush, or a wide-toothed comb or paddle brush.
STEP 2: SECTION OFF YOUR HAIR
Section off your hair at the crown, tying it into a bun at the top of your head. Leave out the front sections of hair that frame your face to ensure a natural blend.
STEP 3: APPLY YOUR HALO® HAIR EXTENSION
After adjusting your wire (link to https://help.luxyhair.com/halo-hair-extensions-faqs/how-do-i-adjust-my-wire-to-fit-my-head) to be the right size for your head, position your Halo® hair extension over your bun where you parted your hair. Like a headband, it should sit comfortably and securely above your ears.
STEP 4: SECURE A 2-CLIP WEFT AT EACH TEMPLE
For some extra oomph around the sides of your face, secure a 2-clip weft at the temple of your head about two inches above your ear, fastening the clip closest to your hairline first. Do the same on the other side with the remaining 2-clip weft.
STEP 5: BLEND FOR HEAVENLY RESULTS
Take down your bun and brush through your hair to smooth everything out ensuring your real hair is covering all the wefts and the Halo® hair extension. If you’re not using our Loop Hair Extensions Brush, be extra cautious when brushing over the wire of the halo to avoid snagging.

What lengths do you offer, and what do they look like on?
Clip-in Luxy Hair extensions are available in our 12" Seamless collection, 16" Classic & Seamless collections, as well as our standard 20" Classic & Seamless collections. We also offer a 24" Classic collection. Our Ponytail & Halo® hair extensions come in 16 & 20-inches.
Why do they look longer on some people and shorter on others?
Great question! This is because Luxy Hair extensions will appear different in length on every person, as we all have different torso lengths. If you have a longer torso or are quite tall, Luxies will appear shorter on you. If you are more petite or have a shorter torso, Luxies will appear longer on you.
How long will Luxy Hair extensions be on me?
In order to determine how long your Clip-Ins will be on you, we recommend measuring either 12,16, 20 or 24 inches down from the top of your ear with a measuring tape, as most wefts will be applied around the crown of your head. For Halo® hair extensions, please measure from the crown of your head as the main weft will be applied here. For our Ponytail Extensions, click here to see how long they will be.
What if Luxy Hair extensions are too long on me?
Since Luxies are made of 100% remy human hair, they can be cut or trimmed to any desired length by an experienced hair stylist if you are interested in a shorter length. If you decide to get them cut, we recommend having them already clipped into your hair during the haircut. We also recommend coming up with a numbering system for the wefts, so that you know exactly where each weft is supposed to be clipped in for the future uses.
What if I want a longer length?

Are the Halo® hair extensions one size fits all or are there different sizes?
The Halo® hair extension set comes with 2 adjustable wires so you can fit the weft perfectly to your head and ensure it is secured.
Before applying Halo® hair extensions, be sure to adjust your wire to be the correct size, otherwise, your extensions may sit too low or too high on your head. As a rule of thumb, the Halo® hair extension should sit comfortably around the crown of your head. It should gently touch your head, and should not move when you shake your head. Is it possible for the Halo® hair extensions to slip/fall out?
No, the Halo® hair extensions will not slip or fall out of your hair if applied correctly. This is why we added the extra clips on either side of the weft for added security if needed. After you apply the Halo® hair extension, the weight of your hair laying on top will also help keep it in place. You can whip your hair back and forth without any worries of the extensions falling out!

I have short hair. Can I wear Halo® hair extensions?
Halo® extensions are best for those who have below bust-length hair and have a thin or medium hair type. We do not recommend the Halo extensions for those with short hair as you will need more wefts and hair to create a seamless blend.

How does the Halo® hair extension wire not show?
Since the Halo® hair extension wire is thin and clear it's virtually undetectable in your hair! You'll also add a layer of hair over the wire to conceal it.

Can I do ponytails/updos using Halo® hair extensions?
Halo® hair extensions are suitable for half up half down hairstyles, and low ponytails!

Can I curl and straighten my hair extensions?
Just like your own hair, Luxy Hair extensions can be straightened, blow-dried, styled and curled. In order to preserve and extend the lifespan of your Luxy Hair extensions, however, we suggest to always use a heat protectant spray prior to styling your set.
Additionally, we recommend to only use a low heat setting of 120C/250F, as anything higher runs the risk of damaging the hair. The reason why we recommend opting for a lower heat setting is because it will prolong the lifespan of your set. While our own hair may be able to handle a high heat setting, our hair is also constantly getting revitalized from the scalp, whereas hair extensions don't get that sort of constant nutrition.

Products Lost or Damaged In Transit: All shipments are FOB (Free on Board), and ship from our warehouse located in Salt Lake City, Utah. We cannot guarantee the performance of our carriers. We encourage U.S. customers to opt-in for package insurance at checkout. We will assist our customers in any deficiency in third-party shipping services but we are not responsible for such deficiencies.
Processing Time
It will take 1 business day to process your order, regardless of the shipping option selected at checkout. We ship Monday through Friday, excluding weekends and holidays. We offer Saturday delivery for orders placed by 5pm ET the day before, by selecting FedEx Priority Overnight at checkout. You will receive a confirmation e-mail with the tracking link once your order ships which can take up to 48 hours to update. If you do not see your shipping confirmation email in your inbox, please check your junk/spam or promotions folder. Standard & express shipping costs and any other third-party fees such as shipping insurance are non-refundable. We cannot be held accountable for any delays caused by the carrier.
Kindly note that if inaccurate or incomplete addresses are provided, or if there are unverified details with your order, it may delay processing by an additional 1-2 business days. We encourage all customers to thoroughly review their shipping and billing information prior to checking out to ensure any possible delays are avoided.
Most packages are delivered to the mailbox or front door of the address provided, however, it is up to the delivery courier to decide if the package is safe being left in the open. If they deem it unsafe, they may hold the package at a local post office or re-schedule another delivery. Our best recommendation is to input a shipping address where you know you or someone else will be available to accept the package (a work address or a friend's address).
USA State Sales Taxes
Please note that Luxy Hair charges state sales taxes on orders in the following states:
Wisconsin, Washington, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Nevada, Nebraska, Michigan, Maryland, Louisiana, Kentucky, Kansas, Indiana, Illinois, Georgia, Colorado, California, Arkansas, and New York.
These collected taxes are mandated by the local state governments and Luxy Hair in no way benefits from this and directly pays this amount collected to the state. We do ship to Military Mail addresses.
International Duties and Taxes
Canada
Your order will be shipped DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) from our warehouse in Salt Lake City, Utah (United States) with DHL Express shipping (1-5 business days for delivery). This means that you will not be required to pay any additional duties upon delivery.
At checkout, you will see taxes added to your order. This prepaid ahead of time will guarantee absolutely no additional charges when you receive your package.
United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, France, UAE, Switzerland, Europe
Your order will be shipped DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) from our warehouse in Salt Lake City, Utah (United States) with DHL Express shipping (1-5 business days for delivery). The cost of the price is inclusive of all duties and taxes, which guarantees there will be no additional fees required at the time of delivery.
Other International
At checkout, you will have the option to prepay your duties and taxes. If you choose to not prepay, your order will be shipped DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) from our warehouse in Salt Lake City, Utah (United States). Therefore, you may incur duties, fees and import taxes upon delivery. This charge is determined by your local customs authority and must be paid to your local carrier or government in order to receive your order. These fees are not collected by Luxy Hair.
If you do prepay your duties and taxes at checkout (which is recommended by Luxy Hair to ensure a smooth delivery), your order will be shipped DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) which guarantees no additional charges at the time of delivery.
Wrong Address Disclaimer
It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that the shipping address is correct. We do our best to speed up processing and shipping times, hence there is a very small time gap to cancel/change your order or to change the address of your order. If you decide to cancel your order or change your shipping address, please write to us at [email protected] as soon as you place your order. We will do our best to make the change, however, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to do so, as there are varying time limits in which we are able to do so.
If it's too late for our team to cancel your order, you can return your order to us once you've received it. For more information on how to return your order click here. The only thing we can do is wait to see if the package gets returned back to us. If it does get returned back to our warehouse, we can then ship it to the correct address or provide you with a full refund.
Extra Shipping Charges: If you upgraded your shipping and the package was returned to us due to an incorrect address and if you would like a refund, you will not be reimbursed for the upgraded shipping fees.
Delivered but Not Delivered
All of our shipments include tracking with delivery confirmation. If the tracking information confirms that the item has been delivered to your order address but you have not received your order, please read this article for next steps on how to locate your package. Also, please contact the carrier in order to investigate this issue.
We cannot be held accountable for packages where tracking information states the package has been delivered to your order address. We encourage U.S. customers to opt-in for package insurance at checkout. If you have previously experienced lost or stolen packages where you reside, we encourage you to instead have your package delivered to a work address to ensure that you receive it safe and sound.
Returns
By placing an order at Luxy Hair, you are responsible for the cost of return shipping back to Luxy Hair. Please refer to our return policy for further information on how to return your packages.
You may return your order for a refund or exchange it within 60 days of purchase, as long as the main compartment is still sealed.
