Do you ever feel like doing something different with your hair, but don't want to do anything drastic to it, like dye or cut it?
Most of us have a look and hairstyle that we tend to stick with on a daily basis. It's easy to fall into the same routine. It's convenient, familiar, fast...the same. Sometimes it's a great idea to step out of your hair-comfort-zone and try something new.
Here are some easy ways you can change up your look, with absolutely no damage to your hair or any drastic changes.
1. Girly Girl
If your style usually doesn't scream 'girly-girl', why not dress up and throw in some flowers or ribbons into your hair for a change? These small accessories in your hair will create a feminine, playful, and lovely look.
2. Part With Your Regular Hair Part
Although you think it may be the most flattering, or maybe the hair just naturally falls this way, changing your hair part can make a huge difference and totally reinvent your look! Parting your hair differently will add volume and dimension at the roots which will frame your face in a totally new way.
Hint: If your classic hair part is stubborn and keeps overpowering your new part, don't worry. Spray some water or styling spray and blow dry the hair to train it to stay in the new direction.
3. Pull Hair Back With a Headband
This one goes out to all you girls who love hiding behind your bangs - try it out! You can use a headband, or simply tie your hair back in a high ponytail or bun. There is something so light and charming about opening up your beautiful features. And no, nobody else is as paranoid about your baby hairs as you are (but you can totally try keeping those at bay by applying some hairspray and using a toothbrush and blow drier to sleek them back).
4. Try A Faux Bob
Cutting all your hair off into a bob is definitely a huge commitment. So why not go from long to short with a Faux Bob? Get ready to respond to a bunch of remarks like 'Omg! Did you cut your hair?! It looks so nice!" ;) Learn how to do a Faux Bob here, here or here.
5. Classy
Classic look is timeless. Try opting for elegant looks which are perfectly combed and executed. To achieve a classy feel, try a dramatic side part and a low bun or chignon. Add some pearls, some lipstick, and voila! Find tutorials here and here.
6. Edgy
You know what's fun? Stepping outside of your usual style once in a while. If you're not edgy/rocker-chic on the daily, throw on a leather jacket and try rocking this funky look for a day. You can find some tutorials here and here.
7. Get Ombre (Without Dying Your Hair)
Ombre hair extensions are the perfect way to play around with the colour of your hair with absolutely zero damage to your own hair. Enjoy the best of both worlds and instantly get the ombre look by using some ombre hair extensions. Our favorites are here and here.
