Whether your Valentines Day adventure involves your significant other, your girlfriends, or simple self-love, Luxy Hair and our friend Josie Sanders have you covered with 3 hairstyles for 3 Valentines Day occasions.
Read on to choose your own hair adventure this Valentines Day.
Adventure #1: Girls Night Out
This hairstyle is fun, flirty, and uses components of a twisted braid and pull-through braid.
Step 1
To create that beautiful length and volume, start off by clipping in your Luxy Hair extensions. Since this hairstyle has a boho vibe, you want to start off with long, wavy hair as your base.
Tip from Josie: Since these hairstyles are mostly half up half down hairstyles, focus the majority of the wefts at the bottom of your head.
Once you've clipped in your Luxies, curl the ends to blend the extensions in seamlessly.
Step 2
Section off one side of your hair, split the section into two. Then begin twisting toward the back of your hair to create a twisted braid. Once you've reached the end of your braid, pull it apart to create thickness, and secure the end with a bobby pin for now to hold the braid together (we'll come back to this later.)
Step 3
Repeat Step 2 on the other side, creating another twist back braid. As before, pull the braid apart for that extra thickness.
Now, gather both braids toward the back of your head, tie them together into a ponytail with an elastic, and remove the bobby pin from earlier.
Step 4
Create a topsy tail with the little ponytail you just created by making a little hole and pushing the whole ponytail through it.
Step 4
Create another twisted braid on each side, from below the first braid to your ear. When you're done, take this twist, wrap it around the ponytail and secure it underneath with a bobby pin.
Step 5
Repeat Step 4 on the other side, take this twist, wrap it around the ponytail, and secure it underneath with a bobby pin.
Step 6
Now, we're going to create a pull-through braid to finish off this look. To create a pull-through braid, gather all the hair at the base of the ponytail, take the middle section, and clip it at the top of your head. Leaving you with two strands of hair on either side like so:
Step 7:
Gather the two remaining strands of hair into a ponytail under the pulled back piece, and then bring that first section of hair back down.
Step 8
Repeat Step 7 by taking that middle strand of hair, splitting it into two again, pulling the remainder of the hair above. Gather the two remaining strands into a ponytail, then bring that middle piece back down.
Josie repeats the pull-through braid steps 3 times, but if your hair is longer or you want a more dramatic braid, you can continue these steps as many times as you want.

Adventure #2: Romantic Date Night
This hairstyle is so sweet and charming, your Valentine won't be able to keep their eyes off you!
Step 1
Take a large strand of hair on one side of your head from the top to about your ear level. Twist the strand on itself, and bring it around to the other side of your head. Then, take a strand of hair from this side of your face, twist it on itself and tie it together with that first strand.
Step 2
Create a topsy tail like in the first hairstyle above.
Step 3
Pull some face framing pieces out, and tug on those twists to make them looser and more romantic.
Step 4
Repeat Step 1 by taking another large strand of hair from about ear level to the nape of your neck. Twist it on itself and bring it around to the other side of your head. Take another strand of hair from this side, twist is on itself, and tie it together with the first strand.
Step 5
Create another topsy tail with this ponytail. At this point, all your hair should now be gathered on one side of your head.
Step 6
You can leave the hairstylist as is, but we at Luxy Hair don't like things simple! Continue on and create a beautiful, romantic Fishtail Braid with all the remaining hair.
Step 7
Once you've created your Fishtail Braid and secured it with a hair elastic, finish off the look by taking a strand of hair and wrapping it around the elastic. Then tuck the hair into the elastic underneath the braid.
...And there's your look! We guarantee your significant other with fall in love with you all over again with the beautiful, romantic braid hairstyle.
Adventure #3: Cozy Night In
This hairstyle is perfect for spending the night in and pampering yourself.
Step 1
This is going to be a top knot hair style, so gather half your hair toward the top of your head.
Tip from Josie: To create the perfect half up shape, take your finger and draw a line straight up from your ear
Step 2
Once you have your half pony, secure it with an elastic, and pull out some pieces to give your hair a bit of volume. Then start twisting the hair on itself into a bun.
Step 3
Once your bun is in your desired shape, secure it with bobby pins at the base.
...Ladies, it's that simple! Now you can put on a face mask and curl up with a good book.
