#1: The Wrap Around Ponytail

  Section your hair at the back in a 'V' formation and secure with a hair tie.

  Take the right section of remaining hair and twist it inward (counterclockwise) around the top of the hair tie.
• 3
  Pull the end of the twisted section through the elastic to secure it in place.
• 4
  Take the left section of hair and repeat — twist it inward (clockwise) around the hair tie.
• 5
  Pull the end of this section through the hair tie at the bottom to secure.

#2: Wrapped Half Updo

  Create a half ponytail with the hair at the crown of your head.

  Take the right section of hair and wrap it above the hair tie.
• 3
  Secure with 1 or 2 bobby pins.

  Repeat with the left section — wrap it above the hair tie on the other side.

  Secure with another 1 or 2 bobby pins. Make sure both sections are wrapped evenly and add more pins if needed.

#3: Faux Fishtail Double Braids

  Split your hair in two. On one side, secure a small hair tie at the top, then add a second hair tie about 2 inches below the first.

  Take the remaining ponytail below and pull it up through the opening between the two hair elastics.

  Continue this technique down the ponytail, pulling sections apart to fan the hair out for a fluffier, fuller look.

  Tighten the loops as you go — be careful not to snap the hair tie. Continue all the way to the bottom of the ponytail.

  Repeat all steps on the other side.

  Throw on your favorite fall hat and the look is complete!
